Who is responsible

Which data we process

• At registration: username, e-mail address, password (encrypted, we cannot read it), country, gender and the date of registration.
• While playing: your progress, possessions, chat and forum messages, login details such as IP address and time, and technical errors in the game.
• With a payment: the amount, the payment method, the status, a payment reference and, to be able to answer a dispute, the payer name with only the last 4 digits of the account or card. Full account or card numbers never reach us, they stay with Mollie.
• If you sign in with Google: the e-mail address and name Google passes on, not your password.

Why and on what basis

• To run your account and the game (performance of the contract).
• To keep the game safe: detecting cheating, fraud and abuse (legitimate interest).
• To meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
• To send game-related e-mails such as the confirmation mail (performance of the contract).

How long we keep it

Account data is kept as long as your account exists and then at most another 12 months to handle complaints and disputes.

The financial data of a payment (amount, date and reference) is kept for seven years, because accounting law requires it.

Of a payment we keep the evidence (what was delivered, when and the player IP address) for 24 months, and the IP address for 12 months. We anonymise closed disputes after 6 months.

Technical log files (IP address, errors) are kept briefly, at most 30 days, unless they are needed for an ongoing abuse investigation.

Who receives them

• Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 126, 1015 CW Amsterdam (Nederland) for processing payments. They process your payment data as an independent controller where the law requires it.
• Brevo voor het versturen van e-mails en Cloudflare voor het doorsturen van inkomende mail for sending e-mails.
• Our hosting partner (een eigen server in de Europese Unie) where the game and the database run.
• The game staff, only for moderation and support. Warnings and sanctions are visible to staff only.

We never sell your data and never use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

We only use functional cookies and browser storage: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a security cookie for forms and a little browser storage to remember whether you had the chat window open or closed.

There are no third-party tracking, advertising or analytics services on the site.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. Mail [email protected] and we handle your request within the statutory period.

Not satisfied? You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

Security

The site runs entirely over https. Passwords are stored encrypted and are readable by nobody, including staff. Only those who manage the site have access to the server.

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to have an account. If you find out someone younger has an account, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this statement changes, we update the date at the top. We announce important changes in the game.
